SKI SLOPES

Czantoria is one of the most popular mountains in the Silesian Beskid. Winter or summer, thousands of tourists come to Czantoria, especially from Upper Silesia, who have easy access to it, and thanks to effective promotion Czantoria is seeing an invasion of tourists, not only from Poland.

Over a period of two years the ski slopes on Czantoria were levelled, dehydrated and safely profiled. An artificial snow production system was installed. 30 lances and 8 snow cannons were put in place to make snow from -3°C, which makes it possible to cover the slope with snow 30% faster. The new Solisko drag lift was built, which is floodlit from both sides and operates till late evening on the lower part of the slope. However, the most important and most costly investment was the replacement of the cable way in 2007. It is now the most modern cable way in the Polish part of the Beskid mountains.

All slopes can be used by skiers and snowboarders.

Description of the routes

The main red route (no 1) is a joy for advanced skiers. We guarantee a two-kilometre interesting run, first over a wide clearing, then through a forest. Anyone who does not feel confident on skis should take extra care, especially on the steep ‘wall’ in the upper part of the piste. The piste was profiled a few years ago, which made it much safer.

The blue route (no 2) is attractive for all those who like diversified runs. The 2.6 km piste runs down a wide clearing for 600 m (Faturka and across the mountain through a forest to end up at the bottom terminal of the chairlift.
